Zero tolerance for CSAE and CSAM

re:plyte prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) everywhere on the service, in public spaces and in direct messages alike. Never create, upload, send, distribute, promote, request, solicit or facilitate CSAE or CSAM, and never use re:plyte to contact or approach a minor for such a purpose. This prohibition is incorporated in the User Content Rules, whose current version the app requires you to accept before publishing or uploading user content, and it admits no exception for any account, feature or context.

A service for adults

re:plyte exists for communication between drivers about vehicles and roads. It is not directed at children, offers no feature intended for children, and is distributed in the app stores under adult age ratings — 17+ on the App Store and 18+ on Google Play.

Reporting inside the app

Any message, conversation, road broadcast, update, community, community post, travel group or car profile created by another person can be reported from inside the app through Safety options, and the report reasons include a dedicated suspected child-safety reason. Reports enter a moderation queue and are reviewed by authorized staff. A bounded snapshot of the reported content and available context is preserved for review, independent of later edits or deletion by the author, and is erased no later than 180 days after the report, as the Privacy Policy describes.

Reporting outside the app and immediate danger

Child-safety concerns about re:plyte can also be sent to mvp@replyte.com; include only the details needed to locate the material, never authentication secrets and never a copy of the material itself. re:plyte is not an emergency service and reports are not monitored for an immediate response. If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first — 112 in Romania and across the EU — and do not wait for an app reply or a moderation decision.

Enforcement

Normalized text screening blocks some high-risk material before publication, and public image or audio publishing can be disabled when safety classification is unavailable, but no automated control is claimed to catch everything. When review confirms CSAE, the content is removed and the responsible account is terminated. Independently of any single decision, repeated upheld reports against the same account escalate to suspension from publishing user content, and serious violations can be actioned without prior notice.

Compliance with child safety laws

We comply with the child safety laws applicable to the service. When child sexual abuse material is identified on re:plyte, we report it to the competent authorities, including law enforcement, as required by law, and we preserve and disclose the minimum information necessary under a legal obligation or a binding authority request. These standards are reviewed together with the service and the law; this page shows the current effective date.
