Dash number or anonymous plate message in Cyprus?
In Cyprus the tools for reaching a parked car do not replace one another. A number on the glass is immediate and public. A QR hides the number only on the car that stuck it on. Official sites identify a vehicle, not a person you can message. A plate message — re:plyte is built for that — does not ask for a sticker on that car. It works only if the other party is on the same platform.

The limit: the other party on the same platform, or the message expires in 30 days. There is no public state directory that messages any plate.

Is a number on the glass required?
No. There is no national rule that forces a dash number on every private car. Whoever puts one up publishes a mobile.
Does the register have a «message the owner» button?
No. Road Transport is a register. An extract is not a chat. The [Commissioner](https://www.dataprotection.gov.cy/) does not open the owner's mobile to a stranger.
Why re:plyte instead of a number?
You write to the plate with a reason. The other side does not see your mobile. If the plate is unclaimed, the message waits 30 days. Free: one car, no co-drivers; Premium three/three after verification; Fleet unlimited. Purchases in the app. The site sells nothing. If someone is hurt — 199 or 112.
